Tonight, our chapter had the privelige of hosting Dr. Hudgens, a biochemist at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (aka. IBBR)—a remote facility of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). His research involves making small structural changes of antibody and then using Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange Mass Spectrometry to detect those small differences. He left us students with some very important words - keep a curious mind! Thanks to all who were able to come. GBM Slides can be found in here.
Our final GBM for the fall semester will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 6 PM in CHM1402. To track your attendance at our GBMs and volunteering events, please see here (Links to an external site.).
