We were delighted to see many familiar faces as well as new folks joining our chapter for the first time. After sharing stories about the coolest thing that each of us had done, we introduced the mission of ASBMB UMD Student Affiliates Chapter, went over our tentative schedule packed with engaging activities, presented our current goals, and ended with a Jeopardy competition among groups (the winners gotta choose their prizes, isn't it great?). Do not worry if you missed this GBM since you can ask us any questions at umdasbmb@gmail.com, plus, there will be 6 more GBMs and 4 volunteer events through out this semester. Our second GBM will be held on Feb. 21st at 6:30 pm in CHM1402. Again, please note that time and date for our GBM have changed to 6:30pm on Wednesday instead of Thursday as in last semester. Thank you and hope to see you there!
