Sangho Jee

President

Hello, I am a rising senior majoring in Biochemistry along with Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. I have been with ASBMB since its founding and have served in the role of Event Master and Vice President prior to my current position. I am interested in reaching out to the community to advocate for science and increase awareness of science-based issues through demonstration and other activities. I love cats (although I am allergic to them sadly), play the piano, am learning to play the violin, and like to pitch my hammock in the mall whenever I have free time!

Melyssa Cheung

Treasurer

Hi I'm Melyssa! I'm a Biochemistry/pre-med major. I'm originally from Toronto, Ontario. I love biochemistry because you get the best of both worlds of chemistry and biology that involves physiochemical processed that occur within living organisms that may be applied in the medical field to aid others. Besides loving science, I love playing basketball and volleyball, as well loving dogs and eating strawberry ice cream while I'm drowning in writing my lab reports. Hope you guys love ASBMB as much as I do!
